A useful article from King Arthur Flour (my beloved) on baking while disabled.
This genuinely might make me cry. I already deeply appreciate King Arthur for making the best GF 1 for 1 flour. And having good recipes. But an article posted by them from someone with disabilities about how to do the thing even with disabilities? Thatâs just genuinely lovely. I know that my bad there is low, but itâs low for a reason and hopefully stuff like this can continue to raise that bar for disabled people like me.
I love to see this! Another of my favorites is the baking with arthritis post.
King Arthur Flour is great flour with an even greater website. (I say this as someone who is expected to make their pumpkin bread for the family every Thanksgiving.)Â
Not needlework related, but this is a very good resource for people who need it.

you can improve literally any word by adding “girl” in front of it btw. girlscared. girlnormal. girlweird. girlsilly. etc. girl can be such a beautiful focal point of anyone’s vocabulary
the trick is though you can ALSO improve literally any word by adding girl behind it. scaredgirl. normalgirl. weirdgirl. sillygirl. girl can be such a beautiful focal point of ANYONES vocabulary

he looks like he lets out a pathetic sad little sigh sometimes for no reason

Many people do not understand why Bradley Cooper wearing a prosthetic nose as Leonard Bernstein is so upsetting to many of his Jewish fans.
Point one: the prosthetic is horribly disproportionate and doesnât look like his nose at all.
Point two goes far deeper. Imagine growing up with caricatures, cartoons and endless jokes about part of your ethnicity. Also knowing that it was used as a reason to âotherâ you during WW2.
Imagine this imagery traumatising your Holocaust surviving grandmother to the point that when I was about six years old she took me in her arms and almost pleaded that I would end up with a smaller nose than the rest of my family (I didnât.)
This has been a reality for many Jews who are already hurting from the continuing rise of antisemitism around the world.
Now imagine seeing a huge ridiculous fake joke of a nose on the face of the actor who stars as the lead in a story of a legendary Jewish artist; Leonard Bernstein whoâs Jewishness was a source of pride.
Perhaps now you can understand it sits wrong with Jews who still feel the pain of their ethnic features being mocked for centuries on end.
In recent years it has been made clear that using the characteristics of ethnic minorities on stage or on screen was not allowed anymore. Why is this different for Jews?

Scottish Labour turns itâs back on the LGBT community.
The face of a fucking coward.
More on this today - looks like Scottish Labour have done a complete 180 on GRR.
If any of the âgood eggsâ in Scottish Labour had a spine there would be resignations. Do not trust any of them.
